This location is at a height of more than 5000 feet from sea level and you will feel cool breez gushing across. An approximate 20 km drive to this place from Madikeri will be another great experience as you will be riding over the mountain peaks. You need to have a better vehicle to visit this location, such as a jeep with better bottom clearance.

Best Time to Visit

Try and visit this place early in day time or make it a point to reach atleast by 3 PM. You need to spend at least 2 to 3 hours in this location. This place can be visited throughout the year, however we suggest you not to visit during heavy monsoon. But the beauty of the view is more predominent when there is slight amount of drizzle or rain. Also visit this place in a group.

This area falls under Pushpagiri Wildlife Protected Forest. An amount of about Rs 30 - 50 may be collected per person by the forest authorities at the check post. vehicles are allowed till the check point and no parking fees.
